The evnt continue to pick up steam.
I got news that several great guys and dogs from Nevada are coming. That's great, bring the best it makes it that much more worthwhile to compete.

It is interesting to note just how close this community is. There is great California - Nevada local support. If you call driving 10 hours to run 15 mns a commitment, you are right.
Anyway, some of us go up there and they reciprocate by coming down here. It's a beautiful thing and great frienship are formed.

I hope you'll join us for the experience.

Sent the check in yesterday. I entered 3 in Top Gun, 1 in the puppys. How many do you have now?
I guess Dan is ridding down with me.
We should get there early in the afternoon on Fri, I would like to work the dogs on a few birds at that time if you have any training birds avilible, probley 6 or so would be enough. How close to a motel there? and if they take dogs. If not Ill just stay in the back of the truck or pack a tent and a bed roll. ce ya

Hey Boomer,

Excellent, I am glad you and the troops are coming down for a little fun.
I'll let Ryan know about the training birds. You can also purchase pigeons at Prado, they may have chukars too.

Here is some info:
Tournament LOCATION (not far from the Ontario CA airport)

Prado dog Park

17505 Euclid Ave.

Chino, CA 91710

Dry Camping available for $10/night

Entry fee for Prado Dog Park $15 per day

Best Western motel (pet's allowed) – Many other motels are available in the area (Chino - Ontario)
http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/propertyMapWeather.do?propertyCode=05655&group=false&disablenav=false&hideProgressBar=false

That one is either $69 or $79/night
Or go to this other Best Western the Kings inn, Corona ca,1084 Pomona Road, and if you book from www.hotels.com it is only $59 a night and they are pet friendly. It is less than 8 miles from prado.

Wow, things arereally picking up...
we have lot's of Nevada dogs entering!
That is EXCELLENT

So far we have more than enough for a BDC major, people are sending their entry fees in.

Bourbonnais wise we have:
Maya, Duke, Samantha, Fletcher

Cody still on the "maybe not" list due to her possible condition, we'll know in two weeks.
However her training continues and she is doing great. I had a friend that had never seen her work before (but has a lot of experience with Fletcher) come out with us last Sunday and he was amazed at the quality of her nose in extremelly difficult conditions. She is done with training, I just need to keep reinforcing the basics so we don't go into a re-training scenario... but that is with every dog

Back to the tournament: I am very exited, this will be the toughest competition we have had this far South and West. Lots of Champions and future Champions will be attending!!

Come see if you can
